A WARM WELCOME TO HANNAH YOUNG YOGA

As you have made it to my little website, you may know me personally, spotted me on social media or seen an advert for a class. You may have resonated with what have to offer or me in some way.

There are so many great options and ways to connect with yoga, but I try my upmost to pour the best of myself and my knowledge into what I share. Giving you an engaging and connecting experience.

The yoga I share is science based, philosophical and often fun. A space to be inquisitive in a supportive, safe and trauma sensitive environment. YOU always being the expert of YOUR body and mind.

My classes are friendly and down to earth. All are given a warm welcome. Find out more about what I offer on my classes page. Inhale curiosity, exhale expectations.

Me
I am Hannah and I am a Yoga Alliance accredited Yoga Teacher and a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals. I began practising yoga in 2018 after suffering with anxiety and depression for a number of years. Practicing yoga regularly has impacted my life in many positive ways, physically and mentally.

Training

I have been very fortunate to undertake my training with world renowned teachers. I began with Yoga Alliance Professionals approved Vinyasa 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 with Jamie Blowers of Jamie Yoga Teacher Training. Jamie was taught by Larry Schultz, the founder of the Ashtanga Modified Primary Series and a former student of K. Pattabhi Jois who established The Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India. This was such an incredible experience where I unravelled layers of myself I didn't know were there!

I am completed 300hrs Advanced Teacher Training with the incredibly knowledgeable and experienced international teacher Laura Gilmore at Bristol School of Yoga, also Yoga Alliance Professionals approved. The course covering Fascia and embodied movement, subtle body, sequencing, yoga for anxiety, advanced assists, inversions, Yin and more. I have over 500hrs of training and over 3 years of teaching under my belt.

Having the chance to share my ever evolving knowledge and experiences with those who come to my classes is such a privilege. Everyone can practice yoga and incorporate it into their lives, breath is yoga! I hope to see you on the mat soon.

It's not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down. - Jigar Gor
